Introducing the handy, easily stored vegetable spaghetti maker….THE VEGGETTI!! Not only does it sort of sound like my last name…but it is a tool that gives us healthy alternatives to pasta. I love my pasta, but I think one of my favorite parts about pasta is the twirling of it on my fork…and I find it to be fun to eat. Why not do that with veggies?

The two main ingredients that I use for this tool are zucchini and cucumber. You can use it for any shaped food that fits easily in the two sections. I tried cutting sweet potato through it, but when I tried to cook that, it was too thin and fell apart. I feel it’s better when you are working with raw ingredients, except for zucchini. The one section produces smaller noodles and the other section is for fettuccine sized noodles. When I use it for cucumbers, the noodle keeps going and going…which I love! As far as clean up, that can be challenging. It is dishwasher safe, so for the best cleaning, I would but it on the bottom shelf of the dishwasher. That usually gets the job done. Give it a go…and start making healthy alternatives to add to your culinary creations!
